In 2009 Doddie Weir (Scotland and Lions legend) attended the Aberdeen Wanderers Rugby Club's Annual dinner. During that evening there was a 2009 Lions shirt which former club president John Currie won on the night and had signed by Doddie himself.
This shirt has now been framed and proudly mounted on the wall in the clubhouse following kind donation to the club from John.
There are many great memories and stories within the club about that evening in 2009. As recognition of what great person Doddie was and his legacy with his charity foundation
